V-tac gu10 Bulb rgb+ww

Hey,

I was searching for some LED Strips, but came across this GU10 Bulb (V-TAC GU10), that has RGB+WW and runs on WiFi. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to find anything here on the community site nor at the integration page.

Maybe someone already tried this bulb and would let us know if it works?
Price seems also fairly okay $13 USD.

Hello,

Please, do you know how to connect then without using the V-tac app? I am using the Conbee, but it can’t detect it.

Hi Martin,
These bulbs are not Zigbee devices, but connects via WiFi. So you need to download the app and set them up with your WiFi at home.

By any chance, do you know, if there is any other way how to connect them to HA? I like to use HA for it’s privacy and I don’t like the idea being watched by 3rd party chinese app.

I was playing around with that, but I think they need to be flashed with tasmota or so. I just dont l know how that is possible.
Every time I block them from the Internet, but makes sure they are having Access to HA i lose them.
