Vaillant/MultiMATIC integration

I also has this problem…

Same problem here, started after upgrade from 1.4 this week.
Worked flawlessly before.

the last ten days

Hi!
Let me apologize in advance for the question, I’m sure there’s something very evident I’ve missed, but I’ve reviewed the thread and poked around for two days, and I can’t get the integration to prompt me for the user/password. I’ve installed it through HACS, and this is what I see in HACS integration:

The huawei and sonoff modules are working OK, but usr/pass in them are put in the config file.
Thank you very much for all the work you’re doing!!
About the myValliant app, I’m in Spain and got the vr900 module installed two days ago, and I got the “classic” multimatic one, the one the technician told me to install. No news from the new myValliant one yet.

Hello,

you have to go to the integration screen and add “multimatic” and then you will be prompt for user/password

Now I fell dumb and happy  I didn’t think to add the integration in the main menu, only in the hacs menu.
Man amazing work!!

I have the SensoComfort, but after installing the integration, no entities show up. Any ideas?

Sorry, sensoConfort is not compatible with this integration

I thought SensoApp is working now? Did I get that wrong?

Unfortunately no, this integration is not compatible. Since “myVaillant” should start Q1 2022 for sensoAPP users, I doubt this integration will support sensoAPP

I understand, but what is this: thomasgermain/vaillant-component at senso_app (github.com)

This is a branch :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: we did some try with @sylvainvh, at first we thought the integration could be sensoAPP compliant by changing few details, but it appears that they are major changes between multimatic and sensoAPP.

Since I don’t have senoAPP, I can’t do much things to have it compliant. And since MyVaillant is coming, it was decided to stop the sensoAPP compliance.

Hi, I’m having the following issue:

Hello hello,
Since the (super nice) integration changes from vaillant to multimatic I have stability issues.
I have to uninstall, reinstall reinsert my credentials (user, pass and really long serial number) and reallocate my devices to the right rooms.
I tried the ‘reinstall’ option in hacs but it does not work, I really have to remove and reinstall.
I’m using last ha version with a dedicated multimatic user.
Before going more into details, did you noticed the same bewavior with other users?
I’m using hotwater_boost and a lot of ambisense valves.
It was really stable before
Have a nice day,
Ludovic

This is better to create an issue here: Issues · thomasgermain/vaillant-component · GitHub ( specify which version of the integration you are using and error(s) you have in the log).

By the way, you should never need to reinstall the integration except your have issues with HACS itself. Also you don’t have to provide your serial number if you only have one serial available. There is a “reload” option for the integration, which somehow “reinit” the integration.

Most of the time, instabilities are caused by the API which is sending wrong/incomplete responses (I already contacted vaillant for that, but they basically don’t mind since this API is almost deprecated).

I’ve installed version 1.7.0 without using a serial number and 4 entities show up for my Vaillant VWF 58/4 LWWP ( Heizkreis, Warmwasser, Multimac, VR921 ) I am missing the entity for my recoVAIR which is visible in the MultiMac App. Is it supporte yet?

When you say the API is almost deprecated, does this mean they are updating the MultiMATIC to a new API, or does it mean MultiMATIC is almost at the end of its life?

Yes multimatic (and sensoAPP) will migrate to “myVaillant”: https://upgrade.myvaillant.com/ (at least french german et english website are providing different information, so … we don’t know what is correct or not).

Same here. I am checking the stability from the network perspective and ping is running well into VR920 but integration with HA is really unstable:

Any idea what is happening? Second question about MyVaillant, is that change will be also for users who are using MultiMatic App?

Which version are you using ?

According to the german version of https://upgrade.myvaillant.com, multimatic user should also move as well (Q1 2022 or Q1 2023 if you have multimatic + ambisense). I contacted vaillant (Belgium) and they said they don’t know…
