I hope someone out there can help me, since I updated hassio to 0.76.2 I am unable to use value templates in my automations i use this for my RF remotes with sonoff bridge.
I really hope someone is able to help me
Can you provide more details? E.g., can you post one of your automations that used to work that doesn’t anymore? I have a hard time believing that something changed to break templates in general, but who knows. But from what you’ve said so far it’s kind of hard to help.
thanks for your reaction but unfortunately after the update all of my automations where removed so i dont have any but i have a picture where I marked what isnt working
i cant type in the value template box but all other options are working fine
This could be a bug in the automation helper UI. Personally, I’d take this opportunity to learn how to hand write the automations instead of using the automation helper.
I’m having a similar issue as evonverdonk on 0.85.1 (and 0.84.6). My automations were not removed, but I am unable to use the template field in the Automation UI. The template field doesn’t work in both triggers and conditions. I also cannot update a template if it was created previously. I am able to use the other options without issue.
I know how to hand write the automations, and that is my workaround, but having them in the UI is handy in case I decide I want to change a value on the fly.
