With the Velbus integration, there are 4 services.
One of these services is velbus.clear_cache, with the interface and optionally the address of a module as parameter.
Under “Development Tools > Services”, I try to run the service.
For the address of the module, it is said:
“The module address in decimal format, if this is provided we only clear this module, if nothing is provided we clear the whole cache directory (all modules) The decimal addresses are displayed in front of the modules listed at the integration page.”
On my integration page, I don’t have addresses in front of the modules.
The first column is “device” and in front of the device name, I have only the Velbus logo…
Can someone help me?
Do you want to remove / clear the HomeAssistant register of Velbus modules or just one of your modules? (I assume you have changed its base address or removed it from your system)
Or do you just want to clear the cache so you can read the modules settings again?
As for Decimal Vs Hexadecimal, do you know the address of the module you wish to remove?
What exactly does it say the address is in Velbuslink and which mode are you using?
Along the top row, there is an option to change between Hex (FF) and Dec (255) mode.
@Cereal2nd will have to confirm / reject the above, as he’s the guru.
So, I understand well that this is not the case in HA? To know the addresses, I’ll go to the VelbusLink.
No risk to lose any existing automations or configurations in the dashboards by using the full scan?
