Yes automation goes to automation, the config goes to config…
All devices should be retrieved , nothing else todo
Hello GuyDB21,
Have you solved your problem?
A month and a half ago I bought a Velux KLF 200 to integrate my three Somfy awnings. One uses a situo 1 and the other two a situo 5 io pure. I managed to pair all three awnings (and two led lights on the awnings) and everything worked perfectly on the home assistant. During a reboot the velux unit did not reboot so I did a factory reset and then it has been impossible to pair any Somfy device. How it worked at the time, I thought it was a problem with my unit, so today I got a replacement for the KLF 200. But now with the new one I am also unable to pair any Somfy devices…
Any idea?
Hello,
I am facing the same problem… How did you manage to succeed in the end?
Thank you,
The firm has come to reset
Cześć.
Czy komuś udało się podłączyć 2 bramki KLF200 do Asystenta Domowego? Mam dziewięć okien z okiennicami i muszę je oba jednocześnie podpiąć.
My Polish (?) is not very good but I think you question is if somebody managed to connect 2 KLF200 devices to Home Assistant.
I think you can connect more than 5 shutters wirelessly to one KLF200 device. The maximum number of shutters connected wirelessly is 200. If all 9 shutters are wired, than you probably have to use two KLF 200 devices. In that case. try to configure one as the master, and the other one as the slave. Connect the master only to Home Assistant, and see what happens.
then all windows and blinds will be assigned to one gate and I will not be able to control it from physical buttons, so I want to add 2 gates independently
Sorry for the late answer. I have parked my project for a while.
What do you mean? I’m not english native and there’s something I don’t understand… What have you reset and how?
Thank you!!
The firm has reset the motors
Oh! And you didn’t know how they did it?
Now I have three perfectly functional awnings although not connected to HA. I’m afraid of resetting them without the proper knowledge and being unable to raise or lower the awnings…
Hey everyone,
I wanted to try the KLF200 as well for my local Somfy setup but I’m not able to pair any product.
I have multiple Somfy Smoove UNO io pure switches for controlling my window blinds. I also do have a Somfy Nina Timer io which I currently use as handheld remote control and to which all the single blinds have been added.
I tried the following 2 approaches for paring the switches with the KLF:
1.
The Nina Timer has the option to “Send products” and when I use it with the corresponding “Receive products” function of the KLF, the KLF displays the success message “Products received”. The Nina remote also shows “17 products sent”. However, the KLF200’s configuration remains empty. It shows no product.
2.
I also tried to first send the key from the Nina timer to the KLF (this might have worked, there is no way to proof it though. At least the Nina remote said that the key was successfully sent). I then tried to pair a single switch via pressing its PROG button and using “Search for products” on the KLF. While the search is in progress, the blind seems to respond with a promising up/down motion. However after some time, the KLF200 shows the message “No products found”.
While experimenting, I have reset the KLF multiple times.
The system log of the KLF remains empty as well so I’m pretty much clueless and puzzled about what might be going wrong here.
Edit: In the meanwhile I’ve found this german article which states that the KLF 200 is incompatible to at least some somfy smoove switches: Velux KLF200 – FHEMWiki
Thoug my switches have not the exact name that is mentioned there I might have bad luck here.
I’m sorry to hear that you have the exact same problem as I have. In my case it has worked but it stopped in a reset so I decided to do a hard reset for the klf200. After that it’s not able to find any of my Somfy motors anymore.
So, my solution it will be to buy the Tahoma Switch. For me it’s not ideal because of the non local operation and because I will have an expensive KLF200 with no use but after some months with this problem, I haven’t found another solution.
Have you tried to see if the devices were created, but not given a unique ID? To see that, have a look in Developer tools, States, and search for Cover, or the type of device you included.
Or Settings, Device, and Entities. You might find some entities on Read Only, for all mine were hidden here.
The German wiki article previously linked here has instructions for this case. You have to fully factory-reset the blinds themselves if you have reset the KLF 200 after pairing some of them with it. Then you have to pair one of the official devices first, and use their prog button to put the blinds into pairing mode again (for 2 minutes) to be able to connect the KLF 200.
Thank you.
Well, as I was trying to pair Velux with Somfy neither one or the other gave me any support as the easy way was to blame the other counterpart. So I ended buying a Tahoma switch. Obviously, the problem remained but this time I have had all the support from Somfy. They had reset my devices and now everything is working fine…
Is is possible to pair a Somfy IO motor to KLF 200 without a remote?
You really saved me with this answer and link. I was going crazy and I think I’ve searched the whole Internet for a solution to my issues… I need to learn German I guess.
