As I’m preparing what I want to do in my new Home with HA, i’m not sure how to handle the cover blinds.
We have 3 blinds on one floor, which means multiple switches that I wanted to eliminate. At least for the visible part.
The idea is to have only 1 switch visible on the wall (there are 3 other switches on a different wall not close to to the blinds) that can open/close and choose the degree of all 3 blinds. The 3 “hidden” switches make sure that I can control each single switch.
The 3 “hidden” switches have a zigbee actor so that I can control them with HA. My Question is how does HA handles when I use the “main switch” to put the blinds to 50%. And then I decide with HA to put the middle blind up? Does this get in conflict once i press the “main switch” for all to go up? Each blind will have it’s own motor.
Since the home is not build I can still choose what I want to implement. What would you do? I just want to make sure that I don’t plan anything stupid. I saw there are some Somfy motors, but these requires extra Hubs and I want to eliminate as much as possible
