Few weeks ago I’ve noticed that my ventilation unit with recuperator failed. It’s a Swedish made home system capable of changing 300 cubic meters per hour called Systemair save vtc 300.
The problem is that somehow moisture got to mainboard and damaged it. Mainboard got corroded and I don’t think it’s possible to fix it. I’ve contacted with installer/distributor and they said 500$ and waiting till 2024 to get new mainboard. There is no way I’m going to wait for almost a year to get my vent fixed.
So now I’m considering on developing my own controller (arduino,esp, etc) or maybe buying some other third party controller and finally have a possibility to integrate it to my HA system.
Maybe someone can suggest any good DIY projects, or third party controllers for such case.
My unit has
- two fans
- two Outdoor/exhaust air dampers
- Bypass damper
- electrical heater
- 5 temp sensors
- humidity sensor
