Vera and Central Scene

I’m using a Vera Edge and have noticed on their forum that the Central Scene features of the Linear WD500Z5 appear to be supported (ie multiple taps, press and hold): http://forum.micasaverde.com/index.php?topic=50623.0.

If I have one of these switches paired to my Vera and connected to HA, is there any way that the multiple presses etc can be used in HA to trigger automations? I know that Vera Scene support was added recently but I dont think thats related to what I’m asking… @Pavoni, @alanf? Thanks in advance!

Getting this working will probably require some reverse engineering and experimenting by a developer who has a similar device. Happy to help if you feel like having a go

@Pavoni Thanks! I’ve ordered one of these switches and will get it set up in a test environment when it arrives. I’ll let you know and we can see what we can do!
