Hi
I installed Hassio in Docker, integrated Vera Plus, Netatmo and some other devices.
Works fine but i couldn’t find on this forum any information about new devices.
Those already configured in Vera i see and they seems ok. But what about new ones? Is it possible to add them directly from hassio or they must be configuredy first in Vera?
Off course first in Vera. It is an “integration” in home assistant.
Thanks for reply, I expected another answer:)
Next thing I discovered that I can’t change temperature (and also switch on off device) on Danfoss Living Connect Z from home assistant but shutter operated by qbino works fine.
What’s wrong? Not supported Danfoss, problem with device type or other? Any suggestions?
What did you expect?
What do you mean? You can’t change in home assistant the device in vera (which is integrated in home assistant via vera integration)?
I expected that you will say it is possible to add directly from HA.
Exactly. In HA I set up new temperature (of danfoss which is device included in vera) but after 1-2 seconds turns back previous value. So i was thinking that HA has problems with sendings commands or Vera doesn’t receive them but with roller shutter is everything ok - in HA I close it, vera receive info and immediately close it.
@sender do you have any idea how to resolve second question about thermostat? Or what kind of way to search?
Can you elaborate a bit more about the exact issue?
In Vera you can correctly control the device?
In HA you can thus see the integrated vera device?
But you cannot “control” the device via HA thus? screenshot? Other info?
Should work…
I do not have thermostats in Vera… but you can try 2 things:
-
find a solution on this forum… e.g. VERA Thermostat and Lock Controls you might have to fiddle with the device type in vera and or home assistant… but I cannot help very well as I do not have thermostats. I know about vera and about home assistant… thus we should come a fair end… but might suddenly stop.

a total other route and ditch Vera… let me know when you want that… (openzwave is the way to try then)
