Vera Integration to HA

Hi,

I am trying to add my Vera Edge to HA. Using the Vera integration, I don’t see an option for login/password. I have searched but can’t find the configuration file. All I have so far is:

vera:
vera_controller_url: http://192.168.xxx.xxx/port_3480

Don’t use yaml but the gui (Integration).

And… ditch vera and use zwavejs :wink:

I tried using the GUI but it won’t connect with a username and password.

Can you use zwavejs to connect to a vera controller? I tried it before but it needs all kind of keys.

Zwavejs is another zwave contoller, next to vera. It needs another zwave radio.

Normally vera should not need a username and password, as I rember correctly. It just needs to connect on the same subnet (lan).

Hi,

I am on the same subnet and the “enhanced security is off - allow local lan access” but it prompts for a login/password. I even tried the http://login:[email protected] which doesn’t work in HA. It works in on my normal browser.

I do not have my vera anymore. But do you have the original mios micasaverde ui7 firmware flashed on it? That’s what the integration worked with for me. Not the new ezlo firmware (afaik).

If I remember correctly you have to disable in the Vera UI Lan security(always require password even on local lan) or else it wont work.
Found it:
Users & Account info > Security > UnCheck the box for Secure my Vera

I am running 1.7.5186 (7.31). Under User&Account>Security>SecuretheController. It’s the only relevant and it is already unchecked.

I don’t think it’s an EZLO firmware (it’s under legacy on their website). I think.

side question. I started going another way. Bought a zooz s2 usb stick and start a new network. I had 3 z-wave devices and I can only register 1. Are all devices compatible with z-wave JS? The other two older devices will not work.

What kind of logs do you need?

thank you. I made a wrong assumption that if it’s z-wave then it will work. The two devices are not listed even though the brand is in the list. There is no way to make them work? It’s a big downside where my Vera will support most z-wave compliant devices.

Vera does NOT support so many devices (support was stopped abput 3 years ago), just a case of luck… You can file a support request here Z-Wave JS · GitHub
