Very dump or very smart TRV - unusual situation requires different approach

Hi.
A little bit of background:
I have Hassio set up at RPi4.
I have two Danfoss Eco2 installed on my two radiators. They use Bluetooth communication and Android app to setup schedule for Home/Away target temps. In normal conditions this works as it should and with the help from couple add-ons I can even integrate it in HA to get values and even set desired temp.

The issue I’m having is one of those Eco’s sits right beside where my PC has its back, which means it gets all the hot air from ventilation directly at sensors, thus making it impossible to work properly (few °C difference). I tried isolating it but without success. I can’t move PC…I mean I could put it on the balcony, drill some hole in the wall for cables etc., but that solution is really hard to execute. :stuck_out_tongue:
Unfortunately Eco2 is smart enough to monitor how it should heat with help of the built-in sensors but not smart enough to get temps from external source.

I don’t think I can make Eco2 work in a way I’d like to (unless it is possible by some hackish hack?), so I’m looking for some other device that would either:

  1. Open and close valve by amount received from external controller.
  2. Working as a smart TRV, still being able to receive temp info from external sensor.

Ad 1. In this case it would be simply a motor that would open/close valve and I would create whole schedule in HA to set how much it should be opened and for how long.
Ad 2. That solution is basically finding TRV that would work like Eco2 but with addition of getting somehow (like with the help from HA for example) info about temp from external source instead of from the built-in one.

The main difference between those two device (from my noobish perspective) are some ‘smart’ things that the second would have, like sensing opened window or something like that.

Anyway, do you happen to know devices I could use for that? Bear in mind that I’m very new to this and I’m looking first at solutions that would minimize necessity to use some modded boards and things like that.

Oh come one…I’m pretty sure there are devices that will meet my needs but I just don’t know which are they. :stuck_out_tongue:
I’m constantly trying to find some where description would suggest that but it’s hard. Most of the time it’s a such a great feature to have thermostat built in the knob itself, so no one is focusing on feeding temps from external source. In some cases it’s even not certain if controller is there for programing only (the same as mobile app) or it actually has sensor, which would mean that the knob has means to get the temp.

BTW It doesn’t have to use direct communication. I’m fine using Z-Wave or Zigbee.

Edit: Am I understand correctly that eQ3 Bluetooth devices doesn’t have any sensor but can get external values somehow?
