I love the anachronicity and juxtposition of the Vestaboard. Making a Split-flap display, which has its origins in 1922, into a smart device is delightfully nerdy.
So far, I have only seen one company that produces such a device; Vestaboard.
I had expected that these would cost ~GBP£300. Nope, they cost ~GPB£3000. And there is not even any mention of home assistant on their website. I could literally cover my wall in 4K TVs, or actual gold, for that amount of dosh.
Does anyone know of any home-assistant-compatible Split-flap displays that cost less than GBP£500?
