I’m running a zigbee SMLIGHT SLZB-07 and I can’t seem to get the device to pair. I hold in the reset button until it blinks. EZSP coordinator.
I’m new to this so I’m curious what I need to look into to see why the sensor isn’t pairing. I already have a smart plug paired to my coordinator and it just popped up during the pairing process whereas this device isn’t. I don’t know what to look for. I know this sensor I bought has an app to pair it to but listings seem to mention Zigbee as well. I know there are different coordinator types & not sure if that’s the problem (ezsp vs. mqtt). I just am not sure how to figure out what to do to make it work. Thank you
Which Zigbee integration are you using?
If you don’t know, check the Integrations page in Settings for something that says “zigbee”. The two most commonly used are Zigbee Home Automation (ZHA) and Zigbee2MQTT.

* The page linked above can also be reached from the Devices page by clicking the “Add Device” button at the bottom right of the screen and selecting “Zigbee Home Automation” then “Add Zigbee Device”.
Then put your device in pairing mode and it should be found.
FWIW, Tuya Zigbee devices can be really hit-or-miss and, in my experience, they are much less tolerant of a weak mesh than some other brands.
If you are new to Zigbee, you should really take a look at the Zigbee articles in the Community Cookbook, so you understand what is required for reliable function.
