I am Sebastian from Germany and a newbie in the topic of home automation.
But I would like to improve this part at my home step by step.
At the moment we are in progress to buy a new house door.
One topic would a video door bell.
Do you know any kind of Video door bell system which allows to open the door via integration of a 12v door opener?
The only one I could find is from Metzler ( Metzler Sprechanlagen für Ein- und Mehrfamilien (edelstahl-tuerklingel.de))
But I guess it should also be possible to arrange this via the automation.
Has anyone made any experience with this topic?
Integration of a smart video door bell (such as netatmo or similar) and a relais which can be trigger via zigbee or z-wave (such as POPP-Türöffner Steuerung | home4u-shop.de)
At the moment the door is set up without a possibility of eletrical open function with 12v.
Locking forward to get some new ideas how to solve this topic.
