Viessmann Vicare Integration - Vitocharge VX3 not visible?

Hello,

I’m a fairly new user to Home Assistant and so far I’m really liking all the options the ecosystem has to offer!
I integrated my Viessmann Vitocal heatpump via the Vicare API integration, but strangely my Vitocharge VX3 solar panel inverter (no batteries) is not showing up in Home Assistant.

Is this a known issue/missing feature or does it have to do with the fact that I don’t have any batteries installed?

I really hope someone or maybe the developer @Hafenstrand can answer this question for me.

Thanks in advance!

Kind regards,

MartijnBr94

Hello MartijnBr94,
I’m in the same situation as you, Vitocal and Vitocharge VX3 with 6kWh solar panels and 5kWh batteries. I can’t see the information from the Vitocharge.
Best regards

Same here. Is really no one using data from VX3 here?

Hey there,
I had the same problem for a long time. The Viessmann API is not working with solar system and battery. But I found a solution that worked like a charme. It`s in German as I am too, but language can be changed in the important parts. Only thing I needed to change here in the explanation was that there are four commands to start up open3e services in one box, I needed to start the commands one after the other instead of all 4 at the same time:

After that all my entities of the Vitocharge VX3 were shown and can be used for free.

@MartijnBr94 @yannlancelin @Manuel82 sorry, missed this post! I do not own a VX3, but it should be displayed in HA. Did you configure the integration with type “auto”? We can have a closer look onto your diagnostic data to get this going if this is still relevant for you. At least the API is more open now!
Once Viessmann fix their sharing issue, you might also invite me to your system so development gets easier.

I started to pay for the data a few months before. With deleting and reintegration i see this now:

I know it becomes free now. So iI think that shall be available for all now…

Without paying  but with this project : Viessmann VX3 in Homeassistant - crydteam
