I got this error when I tried to start the vdi downloaded for linux x64 on a virtual box host.
VM Name: HomeAssistant
The native API dll was not found (C:\Windows\system32\WinHvPlatform.dll) (VERR_NEM_NOT_AVAILABLE).
VT-x is not available (VERR_VMX_NO_VMX).

Since I’ve never run Home Assistant on any Virtual environment, I can’t offer much help.
You may get more results by posting your question on the Virtual Box forums because that sounds like a Windows or Virtual Box problem.
Let’s be clear- you are trying to run Home Assistant on a Virtualbox on Windows 7? (OK Boomer).
Have you been able to run any other OS on VirtualBox, like Ubuntu Linux?
