I’m running Home Assistant in a VirtualBox VM on Windows 10. I am seeing intermittent connectivity issues (Home Assistant intermittently losing MQTT connectivity and access to Glances Integration entities). I suspect the issue might be related to UPnP and/or Port Forwarding with VirtualBox.
NOTE: I don’t have ANY issues accessing the Home Assistant’s web GUI from anywhere or Samba share access.
I would like to try an alternate method forward TCP as a test. Would I be better off using the Host-only Adapter or using NAT? I’m not familiar with VirtualBox networking settings at all. I’d appreciate suggestions on what mode to try other than Bridged as a test.
