VIrtualBox VM loosing network settings after power outage/router reset

Hi guys,

Im having the following issue.

Im running HA on a VirtualBox VM on Windows 11 on a laptop. Meaning the laptop usually never shuts down during a power outage since it can last a long time on battery.

Whenever I have a power outage which resets my router, the HA instance looses its network settings and is not accesible until restart even after network is back up and running and the host laptop has internet connectivity.

I have a static IP for the VM from the router itself since Im using the VirtualBox bridged adapter.

I’ve narrowed the issue down to this.

Those are the network settings after power outage/router reboot:

And after a reboot of the VM everything comes back to normal and all netowork settings are as they should be.

Any suggestions on what how to fix or workaround this issue would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance!

Managed to fix the issue by enabling Promiscuous Mode in the network adapter in VirtualBox.

HA automatically reset the network adapter and everything started running as normal without a restart.

Which mode? ‘Allow all’?
I have the same problem and Promiscuous Mode ‘Allow All’ doesn’t help.
