Visualizer for Spotify using Spotify API

Hi,

i was thinking about a way to show a Spotify Visualizer with my Hyperion Setup on my TV.
I had 2 ideas:

  • Cast the URL of some Spotify Visualizer with Chromecast to the TV
    → Seems not to work, seems it is not possible to send URLs to show on tv with Chromecast

  • Use Spotify API to track the audio and send this data directly to hyperion or HA

Is there already a better way to do this?
