Voice assist using usb mic/speakers

Hi, my setup is HA Core using docker, on a raspberry 5.

I have whisper, piper, and i’m able to use Assist from the webpage or from Android.

Now I want to plug an usb speaker and microphone to my raspberry and use them for controlling my home.

What is the next step to do? Do I need wyoming-satellite in a docker container on the same raspberry? Or what?

Just install assist-microphone addon

Hi Andrea. Did you mange to solve this? Did you find something else besides Wyoming satellite?

i’m using an android device as satellite with Stream Assist:

it works more or less fine

I believe it’s because you’re using HA Core in Docker there’s no Add-On Store.
