Voice control with google home

what is the easiest way to get homeassistant voice controlled for free?
ive used domoticz for many years and i used homebridge to connect to the google home app, that worked very good, yesterday i installed homebride in homeassistant but i cant figure out how to get all the switches from hass into homebridge.
or is there another easy way to get the voice control to work?

I was able to do this following the instructions here with some hints from this page.

TBH, I use both. Using the (difficult to setup) Google assistant integration to control the lights, the Matter Hub add-on to add some other devices I want to control.
