Since controlling fan speed of my DR-HPF008S via voice does not work by exposing the fan entity. I made a voice automation for it. It works, but I would rather not have a automation for such simple things, since my voice automations are numerous and confusing enough.
Recently I read that it is recently possible to set the fan speed by voice:
Next, it’s now possible to set the speed of a fan by percentage. For example, “set desk fan speed to 50%” or even “set fans to 50%” to target all fans in the current area.
But this does not work with the Dreo. Voice commands only turn the circulator on, but does not change fan speed. Controlling the fan speed of my IKEA STARKVIND air purifier works fine, but this device has dedicated fan speed entity.
Anyone here knows if this flaw Dreo specific or common? Is it possible to expose the fan speed as its own entity since just exposing the fan does not work.
