Has anybody got this to work? I’m trying to use the jbonjean/volumio image. Having issues getting the line out seen as a valid sound output device. I’ll keep fighting it but any guidance is appreciated.

Volumio has to be running before the volumio component can be added…
@nickrout is suggesting that you take it up with the people that created the image. Volumio getting access to the hardware has nothing to do with Home Assistant.
Yeah, I get that it’s not a HA issue to fix…
There’s not much on the Volumio forums, and this community is far more tinker-centric than the volumio one. I’ll keep tinkering…

did you ever get Volumio working in Docker.
Having similar interest of having a automated streaming service in HASS:
HASS -> Volumio -> HASS Media player(AVR)
