Anyone succeeded to get the battery percentage of a Volvo EX30 into Home Assistant?
I have a dynamic energy contract and for my previous EV, a Nissan Leaf, I had an automation which charged the batteries in the cheapest hours of the day and/or day ahead. I want to edit the automation and adapt it to my Volvo EX30, but therefore I need the battery percentage.
Unfortunately the Volvo2MQTT add-on does not get data from the API, except an interior and exterior image of the Volvo EX30:
Yes I did. But the Volvo EX30 has no connection with Volvo on Car. The EX30 also has it’s own app. If I add my car to Volvo on Car, the app sends me to the EX30 app.
With the battery percentage available through volvo2mqtt, I assume you have been able to accomplish charging your EV through an HA automation.
Could you describe how you start/stop the automation since I could not identify those parameters, contained in the EX30 App, in the mqtt list obtained through volvo2mqtt.
I’m using an Alfen Eve Single S charger which commences charging as soon as it detects an EV.
Appreciate your advice
