Hi all,
can’t get my Tuya Vonroc Smart Heater to work in Home Assistant. Using official integration, I do see the heater, and i get switches for the backlight and the child lock, but not for the heating functions themselves…
What steps can I take to (help you to help me) get this fixed?
thx
Anyone?
Device Category is [qn] if that helps…
Same problem here! On/Off does not work. Child lock and background do work.
No one has a Vonroc heater?
No longer temperatures that require a heater but still would be very happy with an update…
Anyone?
@clardima and I can’t be the only ones that have this issue… If I can provide logs, settings,…
Use Tuya Local. Got mine working that way. It’s not perfectly supported but the most important functions work.
Thanks, I’ll give it another go.
What settings did you use?
I was able to add my Vonroc “Smart Heater” CH510AC.
Seems to work fine, but as “type” it suggested “Arlec 2200W Panel Heater”… which is not really my heater but it works.
Only added it a couple of hours ago, but it seems to work for the basics.
What is not 100%, are the “modes”.
The actual device has “Anti-frost/Eco/Comfort” while the HA device shows only “Heat or Off”
Any advise on fixing this is welcome.
At time of screenshot, the heater is actually set in anti-frost mode.
Also the history graph has an issue, the target temp is set to 5°C (correct in graph) but it says it is heating (while it is not).
For me it works, thanks @injectx !!
Just a question of finding the heater that matches my vonroc one the closest for all options to work (in my case it auto-selected bonaire_heater, which works like a charm).
