Want to migrate over from Smart Things to Home Assistant. What exactly do I need?

I have Smart Things at the moment but there has been ongoing issues and I’d rather go to a localized automation system like Home Assistant. Here is what I have in my home. I’m assuming a Rasberry Pie 3 will do the trick but what else would I need to connect reliably to my Z-Wave and Zigbee stuff?:

Voice Control
Amazon Echo
Amazon Echo Dot

Locks
(2) Schlage Connect (Zwave)

Lights
(3) Philips Hue A19 Color 3rd Gen with Hub - (Zigbee)
(2) SYLVANIA Smart Connected A19 On/Off/Dim LED (Zigbee)

Sensors
SmartThings Motion (ZigBee)

Plugs
Centralite 3-Series ZigBee

Cameras
(5) Arlo Wire Free

I plan on adding an EcoBee 3 soon along with things like a garage door opener and more lights. Thanks in advanced for your help!

I made the same move a year ago for the same reasons.

To get up and running you can get a combined ZWave and Zigbee stick - I have just a ZWave stick, but the HUSBZB does both and has been rported to work fine with HASS.

Some comments - but basically you will be fine:

No problem, I have both and they work great.

Again no problem, I have the same lock.

Hue hub is supported natively, and you can either use the Hue hub or the stick above to control the Zigbee lights

Not sure about this one, should be OK if it is Zigbee - you might find more info if you search the forums.

Likewise

We have support for Arlo:

And Ecobee

Finally, if you have any problem devices you have the option of keeping them on ST and using MQTT to control them from HASS until you can figure out how to migrate them.

Good luck - I am way happier with HASS than I was with ST

This is exactly what I wanted to hear! I had no idea the Hue hub could control other Zigbee lights too! Thanks again for your detailed write-up. Much appreciated!
