I have run Watchman report and I have a number of orphaned entities.
All seemed to be in .storage/lovelace
Could someone please explain how I can clear these down. Thanks

It’s referring to entities that no longer exist and are referenced in a dashboard. Edit the dashboard and remove the missing entity.
Thank you for your prompt reply.
The problem is that these are missing entities. If I search my entities they are not listed. I cannot find them anywhere.
Some of them are from an Esphome device that was deleted a long time ago.
I would like to get rid of these missing entities but just don’t know how to.
The point that @mterry63 was making is that if they are listed in lovelace, they are referenced in a dashboard somewhere. Removing them from the dashboard should solve your Watchman issue.
Hi, Usually for me they show up in the lovelace interface with a warning symbol, but try editing each of the dashboards you have and go to the raw configuration editor and search for the item.
I’ve had it also when removing an item to correct the error that Watchman took a little while to detect that it had been removed.
Spook is better at detecting orphan entities in dashboards.
I find that Watchman often detects old entities in /config/custom_components/ and /config/.storage/ - you can tell it to skip these folders in the configuration.
