Three different Zigbee Water Leak sensors that should be compatible with ZHA (One is the NEO for example: Model, all seem to use the same TS0207 chip from Tuya(?))
All get correctly identified in ZHA (Skyconnect), and in the connection screen, water is also immediately detected as it should
Once I close the “Add Devices”-dialogue, water is not reported to HA anymore (entity just stays “dry”)
The devices have an acoustic signal, which still discovers the water correctly
Do you have any idea what could be causing it? I assume it’s something in the HA configuration of the devices?
You have three of these Zigbee based water leak sensors by Tuya (link to a device by Neo though).
When attempting to add/pair them in ZHA they show up, but once you close the discovery window, they do not show up in the device list.
3 ZigBee Water Leak Sensors from different manufacturers. One of them is the NEO, but when researching the chip they use, it seems it’s always the same Tuya TS0207 chip.
They stay visible and everything looks fine in HA, it’s just that their status (i.e., water leak) doesn’t update in case they get wet.
Two more tests I did:
Other Aqara water sensors in the same setup work perfectly fine.
If I connect one of the three new sensors to a generic Tuya Hub, everything works
Consequently, my current thinking is that something in the ZHA config seems to be the issue that the event is not correctly interpreted/ shown?
