Water sensor not returning to dry after getting wet

I have a Ecolink Zwave Plus Flood & Freeze Sensor, White (FLF-ZWAVE5-ECO) and I’m having trouble getting it to reset back to dry after it’s gone wet. I’ve dried it, air dried it, etc. The only way I can get it to change back to dry is to check the status manually with a click and then it will change back to dry, even if it’s wet.

Is there a configuration setting to change this behavior? If not, can I set up an automation to manually check status if it’s been changed to wet? Maybe have that automation run every 5 minutes?

Look under the disabled entities and enable the binary_sensor. Use that instead.

There’s also usually a button entity to idle the associated notification.

I’m using the binary sensor and it’s not flipping back :frowning:
There is a button to idle the notification but I was hoping it would do it on its own.

There is an additional binary sensor that is disabled by default.
