For HA, there is no way to install add-ons as plug-ins. But HA is already taking up a lot of space. It is a monolithic application, which is not good.
Core will never get addons it’s designed to be run inside a setup where the user has more control over the OS and in those cases there’s already containerized versions of most things that are HA addons - Use those.
