Weather station modified with an ESP32

I just found your project I am under construction of the same, with exactly the same Weatherstation,

Hello, I just disassembled it it has only read contacts. I also found a lot of information allready here, which is exactly my station It there is no really hardware description I will try it this way as I just have a esp8266 mini, and an ads1115 I will try this, with the yamml from mark [IMG_0323] And connect the ads1115 to d1 and d2

Do you have a picture how you connected the wind direction reed contacts to the ads ?
Is myapproach right ?
To be honest I have verry smal experience in yamml, I will just copy yours with adaption.
