Weather Underground Integration (core) was removed in the last release (#52999). It was stated that this integration was not being used (true) and that API keys were no longer available (not true - only for the previous API). IBM has completely changed the API and is issuing free keys to the new API to contributing users, as well as to non-contributing users on a paid commercial basis. This has been the case for around 2 years.
I stopped using the previous (core) Wunderground integration when the API changed (ie the integration effectively broke). I started using the custom component cytech/Home-Assistant-wundergroundpws in lieu, and it has worked well (in my system).
Can we have this custom component integrated into Core to replace the old Underground integration that was recently removed?
