I’ve been exploring ways to enhance my smart home setup and came across a feature on iOS devices that I find incredibly useful. Specifically, it’s the notifications about impending rain, complete with a graph showing the intensity and timing of the rainfall. I’m wondering if anyone here has managed to replicate this feature within Home Assistant, including having TTS (Text-To-Speech) announce these details.
To give a bit more context, I’m currently subscribed to WeatherKit, which provides me with weather data within Home Assistant. However, I’ve noticed that it doesn’t offer many sensors that could facilitate this particular integration.
I’ve considered creating shortcuts on my iOS device to somehow transfer this information to Home Assistant but haven’t had any success. Does anyone have any suggestions or workarounds on how to achieve this? Your insights or guidance on setting up such a feature would be greatly appreciated!
