Weekly system error

Good morning everyone,

I have a strange error that I just can’t get rid of and don’t really understand. The error occurs repeatedly every few days, at the moment the intervals are somewhat longer, we were already at daily. Mostly in the morning hours.

I use a Pi4 with a Conbee II, USB adapter and extension. So far the system (Core 11.3, OS 11.1) is running.

When the error occurs, usually I notice this because some switch or automation is not working, the possibility of doing something in the system is very small. Z2M no longer runs at all, all devices are inaccessible. The addons themselves are not accessible, I only get a white page. The addon section of the UI also shows nothing. Parts of the system UI also only show white. Even the system restart via the UI is not accessible. Only a hard reset helps.

Unfortunately, the logs are also not particularly helpful as they are only partially accessible and refer to the fact that, for example, automations could not be started because entities are logically not accessible.

Any Ideas?

today again. Power looks good, Plugin doesn’t recognised any drop. Log itself (i installed the Logger) show nothing except the usual connection queries or automations. i have the feeling that the logger also stopped running the moment the system crashed.

However, I only had the opportunity to look into the system or the logs at all after the restart.

The UI is very limited when this crash happens, almost all options you click on bring up a blank page or only half of the usual options. A restart from the UI itself is not possible. The option is simply not there, whereas the YAML restart or even automation restart is possible!

it’s just totally strange…
