I had no idea where to put this and could not find any info about this, so I am just putting it here and hoping for the best.
I have been seeing some weird behavious lately in HA automations. I create an automation based on a “numeric State” Trigger or condition.
Example: "Do XXX when entity YYY is above value “20”. This will work just fine, but when I scroll back up to that point the entry will no longer be “20” but something like “19,7” for some reason. I have no idea why this is happening and whether this is actually harmful…but I would really like to know how to stop this from popping up.
