Hi,
twice in the past few weeks HA has suddenly stopped working. Running on Intel NUC configuration is
- Core2024.12.4
- Supervisor2024.12.0
- Operating System14.0
- Frontend20241127.8
If I do a hard restart of the NUC then HA begins in safe mode. If I look at logs then the only entry is as below.
Logger: homeassistant.helpers.translation
Source: helpers/translation.py:226
First occurred: 17:26:30 (9 occurrences)
Last logged: 17:26:30

I can then restart and HA load as normal. I can’t work out why the system crashes. Weird thing is that my unifi controller shows it as connected. I can even ping the ip address with no dropouts. But the main dashboard doesn’t show.
Is my best option to think I have too much junk in my system (from years of tinkering adding entities, devices that are no longer used) and I’m best doing a fresh install after backup?
If I did so - then the backup would still contain the thing that is causing the hanging?
Anyone else having similar occuring recently?
Pat
