About twice a day, and at different times, a few of my lights (seem to be centred around one room) randomly turn on or off.
The precursor to it seems to be that a zigbee button becomes “unknown”, and then instantly mayhem ensues. I’ve tried looking through all the logs, and I can’t see anything that jumps out at me (although to be fair I don’t know what I’m looking for - “Hi, zigbee dongle here, getting bored so gonna have some fun” maybe?!
Using HA OS on a reasonable spec HP mini PC, ZZA dongle in zigbee2mqtt.
Screenshot is typical scenario - this time at 5am, starts with the door button at the bottom…
I have a node-red flow that turns the lights on in the study. And, the more I think about it the more convinced I am that it’s related to the room. Everything that turns on or off randomly either is or was in that room. Different types of device, but all connected to the study in some shape or form.
Double checked my node-red rules - I have two buttons set to forward if the action is not 'None - no idea why I set it like that, so that would explain what’s causing the devices to switch.
But, what would make it a button’s state go “Unknown”? Does that suggest a deeper problem, as HA is losing state somehow?
