Weird wiring and the Sonoff ZBMINI-L2

So i got this weird wiring in my home and am now trying to install the ZBMINI-L2.
After hours of starring at the Sonoff wiring guide, I still don’t have a clue on how I should install this thing.
I’m no electrician but I’d have never expected this to be that confusing.
Here’s a sketch of my wiring: Pre Sonoff wiring - Album on Imgur
Welp

Hello, this is a 220V setup. I strongly recommend getting an electrician or, at the very least, taking proper precautions and ensuring safety before proceeding.

This image shows the updated wiring diagram—apologies for the rough sketch, as I’m not much of an artist.

excuse me for this dummy question, but is this ok for a scheme with a smart bulb(s), to keep it(them) online?

It’s accurate, but since the Lout isn’t necessary, you can remove it. The updated schema for connecting your smart light online is shown in the image below. Once completed, you can link the smart light and smart switch using automation or the group function.

Really appreciate!

Sorry, but it doesn’t work (, tried both variants, in both cases the relay was dead.
Here are a few insides. BTW, this model has a very very weak connectors (3rd photo), they bend easily when trying to pull out the wire and prevent it from being pulled out. I don’t have a stand for experiments, so everything was done right in the wall socket, unfortunately, I didn’t have the opportunity to make any measurements.

Consider trying next time with a small, simple test circuit to better understand how it operates. There’s also a chance the device could be defective, so examining the cause might help before the next attempt. Rest assured, the schematic is entirely accurate. By the way, is your home quite old?

The relay is working ok and when I returned to the standard connection scheme (Lin/Lout, S1/S2), it worked properly.
Yes, the building is old enough, constructed in 1915, but there was a renovation in 90s, but I don’t have a neutral so on, and as I noticed after connecting L+N wires (only these 2 wires connected to the dumb switch) it’s turned to N, not to L.

That’s why I’m asking— in older buildings, depending on the country, the switch might be wired to the neutral instead of the live (phase) wire. If that’s the case, this schematic won’t work because the relay needs to be placed on the live side, not the neutral. If this applies to your situation, there are several ways to fix it, but the solution will be more complex. The good news is that the relay does work :slightly_smiling_face:. My advice would be to have a technician handle it, especially since the building is older.
