I have an older style lamp that i want to make smart. It has a transformer and dimmer slidder all in one but this doesn’t play nice with LED bulbs. So i want to take this transformer out and attach a 12v power adapter. But what do i use to add the dimmer function back in? I have seen there are dimmer switches but are for the wall. This lamp might move about so i want to just ask alexa to dim the lights 50% say.
oh and wifi would be ideal with tuya. I dont have mqtt setup or 433mhz
