What does reactive power from shelly EM tell me that power does not?

I watched the hook up’s video on the power meters (a few years out dated, and made when shelly EM didn’t publish reactive power) and he states that when the firmware is updated to publish reactive power it will be much easier to detect different loads/devices.

Well, it’s been updated now (two years later) and… how do I use that information?

For example, I have a radiant heater plugged into the circuit that has 3 heat levels:

Level 1: 570 watts Power and -34 watts Reactive Power
Level 2: 832 watts Power and -50 watts Reactive Power
Level 3: 1322 watts Power and -112 watts Reactive Power

Seems like both variables diverge in equally relative amounts - is there a way I can leverage both variables to more accurately pinpoint the three levels of this heater (or separate devices, etc etc…)
