You guys still dont, get it, there has never been a feature called Device-specific-dashboard … it’s setting you do in your browser , so fact is you can have as many “settings” you want in as many Browsers you have on your device, as long as you dont flush your cache, move on

As i see it we now have +3 ways of doing “things”
1 set a default-system-settings
2 every user can set a user.settings (for them self)
3. every user who access through their phones and Laptop/PC can have:
4. every user can have,I.E their own default-dashboard (on theirs phones)
5. And on their PC/Laptop an URL-shortcut on their desktop pointing to http/homeassistant.local/dashboard-my.fu preferred pc dashboard/gotit
click open/login(if one have saved-login ?
(i.e short-cut on their desktop, pointing to "http://homeassistant.local:8123/dashboard/my-preferred-pc-dashboard/my-preferred-pc-dashboard (figure it out)
The previous (Imaginary “Device settings” ) which was stored in your login/session (Browser/APP>which is a Browser-app) == Vanish upon flush cache etc.

- Have your Device(i.e Wall Tablet/PC) boot, and on boot “start preferred Browser with the URL to preferred HA/Dashboard” ( No redundant Clicks ) if that is Your consern
in the Companion App there was a setting that did set the default dashboard only for mobile device.
It has been removed as of the last update.
I don’t remember ever seeing such a setting in the Android Companion App. The only one I ever recall seeing is the one in the logged in user’s profile.
