I recently installed Home Assistant Supervised (Ubuntu 18.04) on a host named “ha”. My local network’s DNS is provided by pihole and it reports a host by the name of “assistant” is repeatedly attempting to lookup a domain named “home”.

- I have no machine named “assistant” so is it the Supervisor or a related container?
- If so, why is it performing a DNS lookup for “home”?
- If “assistant” and “home” are all part of Supervisor’s internal “docker network” (just guessing here) then why is it reaching out to my physical network’s DNS server?
Any insight into this would be appreciated.
