What is the kit that came with my ZigBee dongle?

Hello,
I bought a CC2652P USB Dongle for ZigBee from Aliexpress: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005174389733.html

It comes with a cable connector. It can be conneced to the pins on the dongle. I wonder what it does and what is it called?

The connector and the small green board is visible in thr picture below

I assume it’s used for flashing the firmware, how ever you can also do that over USB.
