What is the meaning of the ZHA coordinator device's entity state?

Hi all. I’ve got a Sonoff USB Zigbee dongle attached to my HA box using the ZHA integration and all works fine. However I’m curious as to what the state of the coordinator device is telling me. It has an integer value that increments and seems to reset when HA is restarted. Its state_class is ‘total’.

What is this telling me?!

It’s a count of transmit/receive failures.

Ta. As a matter of curiosity, is this exposed in the integration’s documentation anywhere or is it another case of having to go Jedi? (Use the source, Luke.)
