What is using my memory?

Is there an add-on or integration that will identify what HA processes, integrations, add-ons, automations, helpers, scripts, configuration details, dashboard, etc. are using memory?

All of a sudden my system is using around 11GB of RAM and I have no idea. A reboot did not resolve the problem.

Thanks.

In settings, system, repair. The 3 dots on the right will give you general information about the system and how long things take to start. Then there is glances in the community addon store. That will tell you what part of ha is using the most cpu.

Btw if you’re running any new video feeds that would be it. As fa as automations scripts idk but if that is the problem. You will see, in glances, that ha is using the cpu.

Thanks very much.

The Mikrotik integration was taking 46 seconds to start and took the #1 spot for length of time.

My concern was memory usage, but the system information and startup time is good to know.

And the Glances add-on looks very interesting (possibly overwhelming), but I can’t get it to work on my system (Proxmox with HA in a VM). Says it started, but trying to open the Web UI fails with a message that it is not started.

In case this is reported by promox it is probably wrong.

I had similar situation. In my case it’s vscode extension which is hogging all the memory. I had the root directory opened there and changed now back to the default /config

I recommend to check the add-ons panel because the add-ons report the resource usage easily there.
