What the best Speech-to-text (STT) engine for German

Hi fellow German-speakers, the title says it all:

What was your experience with different STT engines for German?
I’ve tried fast-whisper and Nabu Casa Cloud, and it misunderstands a lot of usual German sentences (about 30-40% is wrong). Luckily the OpenAI fixes most of it, but this is still error prone.

What is you best pipeline?

I use the rhasspy whisper container. Works well.

And, did you use the HA assist pipeline and just replaced the Rhasspi Wisper as STT?

Yes I just use that STT container in my pipeline.
