It sure would be nice to edit your home assistant dashboard on the computer.
I did scroll and search thru to makesure this wasnt a duplicate. I see that there was a post for the same thing in 2022.
What do you mean by this? Are you talking about being able to update the shortcuts available on the dashboard if you’re logged in through a browser and not a companion app? (if so I agree I’d like to be able to not have to use the phone too)
Id you’re talking about making the dashboard use custom cards and things - they’re limited to what CAN be put there by Google’s Android Auto limits.
There is some limits however, I have seen more apps when the vehicle is parked. Can allow for more features.

They are limited to on/off right now. There’s limits by application type - they can’t just throw anything up on it.
Its a hard limit that will require rules changes by Google.
Yes those are android automotive and not android auto. The android automotive app from HA does support that in cars taht do not have the play store. Google unfortunately is not allowing our application to switch to the native mode in the play store version. We are waiting for them to give the go ahead. Android Auto does not support WebView per Google so it cannot be done. Everything there requires approval from Google and capabilities are limited to what category the app is. We are an IOT app category so we cant do things navigation apps can for example.

I guess we need to be a game 
so we can be played like the dumb gamessnacks. I understand about the hands tied by Google. I just use high voted on things like this to push back when I talk to the teams I do testing and other events with.
