What to replace the Nest Thermostat with?

I started getting an email every time HA logs in to get the temps from the nests. I knew the day would come when the little back door I been sneaking in was gonna close.

Now, at the start of the heat season I have to replace them. I don’t think I’ll need anything like the nests. All the fancy features didn’t work for me. They just looked cool. They’re beta units soon to be paperweights. In an old big house with no zones, using 4 of them.
What does the world refer?

I do have a network of esp around the house in other rooms monitoring environment. A couple are using the HA interface controlling a couple of window acs in summer. In the 4 rooms I don’t and want to replace with something with a human interface for the other minions that roam around.
