What types of temperature sensors are you using?

Hi,

I would like to add a couple of temperature sensors throughout my home but can’t decide which way to go: buy some “plug-and-play” sensors or build my own.

I want some nice small sensors without having to build a case or anything like that (or worse: having wires and and circuit boards exposed in the open). Also, they don’t have to be super accurate (0.5 degrees celcius steps are fine).

What kind of sensors are you using?

I have a couple of Aeotec and a couple of these:

You can then write a simple KumoApp to push the changes into HA. Not perfect, but the sensors are small. I had these before HA. If I was to do it again, I would probably look more at the Aeotec Multisensor.
