When do I need to CLI access my HA interface on ODroid, or is it all done from desktop control panel

Brand new to HA. Installed on ODroid and everything got recognized on desktop, added a Zigbee and a plug from desktop, all good. Very impressed.

So obviously you want to just run the ODroid headless and have it be in your network cupboard somewhere. But can I do that now, or are there reasons I will need the HA> interface on the ODroid? I guess I’m asking, what are the common tasks that must be done from the CLI device itself for non-developers?

You need access to the files to edit them, which doesn’t require the CLI.

The CLI does have a more comprehensive configuration check than the one in the UI, but you can run that over SSH.

Beyond those two things the only time you’ll need CLI access is if/when you break something badly.
